| Booking Procedure |
After receiving your acceptance of tour, price and payment procedure, we will
immediately make necessary arrangements which normally take about 2 working
days. We will then send to you confirmation by e - mail with your booking
status. |
| Payment |
Require to settle a 30% non refundable deposit in order
to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance to be settled 2 weeks prior
to client’s arrival in Myanmar. |
| Validity |
Prices quoted are net basis and valid according to the
date specified on the printed tariffs, quotation, invoice etc. Journeys warrants
that the prices or rates quoted are correct at the time of issuance but are
subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation. |
| Tour Cancellation
|
A> Cancellation made before the tour starts
- You will loose deposit as mentioned above. B> Cancellation made after the tour starts –
Generally no refund will be made. However in case of your health problem, emergency case a
refund will be considered after
consult with other service providers involve such as airline, hotel, transport for their cancellation
policy. C> Force majeure - A full refund of the unutilized numbers of the days will be
provided if tour has to suspend due to unforeseen circumstances which is beyond our control such
as natural catastrophe, political unrest, and sudden cancellation of airline without
notice or accidents. NOTE: The above calculation does not cover International airfare. |
| Child Fare |
75% of adult fare will be charged
for the children under 11 year old sharing room with parent.
25% of the adult fare will be charged for infant 2 years and younger not
occupying a bed or seat in coach of aircraft. |
| Group Policy |
One complementary will be provided to tour leader
exceeding 15 full paying members in a single group subject to a maximum limit of
2 complementary per group. |
| Accommodation |
Accommodation is provided as indicated and facilities
such as private bath, air conditioning system, hot and cold water. Journeys
provide the best available alternative where there the facilities do not exist.
If circumstances dictate, accommodation at alternate hotels of equal quality
will be provided. Fare is based on two person sharing a room. If a separate
single room is require, there will be a single supplement liable. Daily
breakfast, service charges and taxes at hotels are normally included if not
otherwise indicate clearly. |
| Meal |
Generally, Breakfast (B) is served at hotels in the main
cities. If Full board or Half board is indicated in the tour price Journeys
provides either Lunch (L) and (or) Dinner (D) in hotels or in appropriate local
restaurants. Box lunch or dinner will be provided on various trekking and
adventure programs. |
| Ground Transportation |
Round trip transfers between airports, rail depot, piers
and hotels by coach, min van, or car is included as indicated. Full time ground
transport covers above mentioned transport facilities in full time of client's
disposal. Inter-cities private transfer covers coaches, mini van or car between
one major city to another. Journeys utilize all vehicles equipped with
air-conditioned system however due to poor road conditioned and poor quality gas
the system may not function properly. In some areas, where facilities do not
exist we will provide with the best available alternative. If in case of coach, mini van, car break down we try our
best to fix them in due time, if the damage if beyond repair then we try to
provide best available alternative means to the nearest port where proper
transportation facility exist and can be replaced. |
| Insurance |
It is highly recommended that travel insurance be
purchased, covering trip cancellation, lost and damage baggage and health etc.

| Responsibility |
Journeys Ltd act as the agent for the person in regard to
travel whether by rail-road, motor-coach, boat, airplane or any other means of
transport and assume no liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained by
the person including those occurring outside the touring programs. Therefore
Journeys Ltd will accept no responsibilities for losses or additional expenses
due to accident, delay, sickness weather, strike or other cause beyond its
control. Participation in the tour implies the person's agreement to the above
conditions. Journeys also reserve the right to modify or reverse the original
program in the interest of the clients. It may substitute flights with train or
coach service when deemed necessary due to circumstance or beyond its control.
However Journeys will make fullest possible endeavor to keep up with the
original program and arrangements as agreed upon to the best of its capacity and
upon the satisfaction of the client. |
| Claims |
All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the
services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding.
In the event such effort would fail, the disputes, claim or litigation shall be
finally settled by arbitration of the Union of Myanmar. All claims must be
submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the Services. |
