Excellent organization, outstanding guide!
We had a great holiday visiting Burma, had a
great experience of social, cultural interaction
with locals.
We were concerned about harassment by military
junta but surprisingly there were no military
present and feel absolutely safe to wonder
around. We also see very little amount from our
spending goes to the military government but
most of them go direct in to local community
which we feel absolutely satisfied about. We
would strongly recommend visiting Burma. Our
guide Win had done an excellent job!

We had visited Burma during late October 2007
right after the political crisis in Yangon.
We have visited Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan and Inle
Lake areas and had a great experience of social,
cultural interaction with locals.
We were concerned about harassment by ministry
junta but surprisingly there were no military
present on the streets, sites that we
visit and we feel absolutely safe to wonder
around. We also could judge by our owned
experience that very little amount from our
spending goes to the military government but
most of them goes direct in to local community
which we feel absolutely satisfied about.
We would strongly recommend to visit Burma.

I really enjoyed my trip to Burma despite recent
political crisis in Yangon. I will write Los
Angeles Times, Travel section that people should
travel to Burma. I see that very little amount
from tourist spending goes to the military but
most of them go directly in to local community.
I have no hesitation to recommend Journeys as
excellent organization and Win a great guide!
