Can we use credit cards in Myanmar?
No, Officially not. But some of the high end hotels accept payment by
credit cards for their own usage at the hotel.
What about Traveler Cheque?At the moment it's not possible due
to EU & US economic sanctions against Myanmar.
How could I purchase my trip?If you are planning your own
arrangement then you will have to bring enough cash for your trip. If
you are planning your trip using a travel agent, you can transfer fund
by mean of telegraphic transfer via your bank in advance. Make sure that
you have enough cash for your personal use as it will be rather
cumbersome if you run out of cash during your visit.
